The November meeting will be10am, Saturday, Nov 16th at the Fruitville Public library meeting room. The Library is located at 100 Coburn Way, exit 210 off I-75 in Sarasota, Fl. Bring a modern quilt for Show and Tell.
Join in a special Show and Tell Tribute in memory of Carol Lyles Shaw. Bring a quilt you made in one of her classes or was influenced by her modern quilt style.
Program update: Happy Thanksgiving to all! This Saturday we will have a special treat!! We didn’t get to do Halloween spooky-cushions, so we will stay and make Thanks-cushions!! Bring a pencil, a hand sewing kit, and some scraps of fabric that go with the teacup you bring. Our own super creative Lore Caldwell will guide your creativity in making a special pincushion to use while doing big stitch quilting or any hand stitching. Your family and pets will thank you-no missing pins or needles! Please plan to stay and have fun!
