The May meeting will be held on Saturday, May 16th at the Sarasota Community Church, 4041 Bahia Vista St in Sarasota in Room 11. The closest parking to the meeting Room 11 is -as you drive in turn left thru the parking lot then right towards end of building. Bring a modern quilt for Show and Tell.
The program will be a slide presentation of quilt embellished clothes to inspire you for the sew-in in June. Instructions on designing and making a pattern for upcycle clothes will be included and inspiring. For detailed information click here or on the tab.
Our chat group GroupMe has been quite active lately. Marjy posted a short video of her trip to Sisters, Oregon, Clarification on Retreat log cabin block discussed, and Paducah winners posted under the topic Online Finds. The Calendar is updated with programs and locations as they vary due to construction, polling events etc. A big Thank You to Lois and Lore for working thru the maze of programs and locations. Also thanks to Ann M for posting on our Facebook group photo's of Modern Quilts at Paducah.
