The Community Outreach for teaching sewing at Lakewood Ranch Library using Upcycled fabrics for the teen designers to sew clothing was a huge success. Thanks to Lois S for leading the SMQG volunteers.
The Community Outreach of teaching beginning sewers how to design and make a quilt was a learning experience for each as they had never ironed or touched a sewing machine before. They designed and made this flag quilt with Lois S leading the way.

The Lakewood Ranch Library 250th USA Anniversary display includes some of our members quilts. The display runs until Aug 2. We are invited to contribute to their November display.
